It's always helpful to have details at your fingertips.   It's pretty darn important not to get tied up in arguments about what the details mean.   They are best used as documentation to support your own common sense argument.   The facts can speak for themselves.   It can be helpful to keep the big picture in mind.   I have been starting to react to discussions about third world issues, developing nations, etc.   I look at this picture and see one world.  Discussion about third world issues serve to confuse earthlings about the fact that bad events and policies on this planet affect us all.   This is one beautiful planet.  There is no first world of industrial nations, no third world of undeveloped nations.  It's one round, beautiful world.  It belongs to none of us.   We belong to it.
